It just made me feel how privileged I am, and how I have taken things for granted. I was on the fortunate side during those times in Nepal, and reading this made me realize how things could easily have gone wrong. Hiding under the cloak of hollow patriotism, we only want to talk about how great and beautiful Nepal is. It certainly is, but the real problems are buried by the instability in government, weak laws, and corruption.
Every child deserves a shelter. No child should ever worry about sleeping with hungry stomach. There are various organizations working for Child Welfare in countries like Nepal.
